WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY

“Nature is our first mother”, Amma says “she natures us through out lives. Our birth mother may allow us to sit on her lap for a couple of years , but Mother Nature patiently bears our weight our entire life. Just as a child is obligated to his birth mother, we should all feel an obligation and responsibility towards Mother Nature”. We celebrated the World Environmental Day on Thursday, the 5th June 2014. The Environmental Day function was inaugurated by an Assistant Agricultural Officer , Krishnankutty Sir. His speech was very inspiring and he introduced many agricultural methods to be implemented in our day today life to protect the plants. Along with this saplings were also planted in the school campus.
