Ramayana Month 2014

Amma says that the Ramayana is one of the great epics of our country that reflects the ethics of our tradition and culture. The Ramayana is generally associated with the great Hindu sage, Valmiki.

Our school celebrated the sacred month of Ramayana from 17th July to 16th August of this year. The Ramayana was recited everyday by the students in the morning assembly after the usual prayers. A Ramayana quiz and Ramayana Parayanam competition were held between the 4 houses. Prizes were also distributed to the winners.
