WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION-2015

On this note, we began our Environment Day celebrations this year.
Every year, June 5th is observed as Environment Day all over the world. As part of the celebrations, we organised an assortment of activities to evoke awareness on the need of nature conservation among students. Mrs. Sheena S.L., Agriculture Officer of Kadapra Krishi Bhavan , inaugurated the function by distributing saplings to our students. She delivered an inspiring talk on the need to work hand in hand for the conservation of nature and its resources. She planted a sapling on our school premises to commemorate the event. Students and teachers planted saplings after the ceremony. Poster designing and essay writing competitions were also held as part of the celebrations.
