GURUPOORNIMA 2015

Indian culture and tradition attach great importance and reverence to Gurus. The full moon day in the month of Aashad is observed as Gurupoornima, a day dedicated to the memory of the great sage, Bhagavan Veda Vyasa. It is an occasion for all to worship and seek the blessings of the Guru.

As part of the festivities, ‘Guru Paaduka pooja’ and ‘Matrupooja’ were conducted on the school premises on July 13th, 2015 under the guidance of Bri. Bhavyamrita Chaithanyaji, the in-charge of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Thiruvalla.

Let all our flaws be removed as the light of our Guru’s wisdom falls upon us on this Gurupoornima day.
