The love, the exuberance and the music amalgamates to form a motley company akin to Vrindavan during Janmashtami celebrations at our Amrita Vidyalayam. There was a festive feeling in the air, and tiny tots dressed up as little Krishnas and Gopis transformed the corridors of our school into another Ambadi. We consider it our privilege to continue the legacy of worshipping Gomatha by performing Gopuja on Janmashtami day. Uriyadi was also conducted for the students as part of the celebrations.
